Renault, thanks to new Twingo, now ranks among Europe’s biggest gainers

Renault February sales results and Dacia Europe 2015

Renault Group, held back by a distinct loss of momentum from its few-frills Dacia brand, also ended the two months to February with a largely unchanged car sales share of 9.6 per cent.

Presumably, the Renault brand’s fast early sales pace, up 13.3 per cent so far, owes a lot to its all-new Twingo, which received raving media acclaim when it was launched last year. Its hot sales pace was repeated in February when the Renault brand increased it sales by 15.6 per cent
