Thatís to say that no other carmaker has yet managed to produce any halfway decent
hybrid sales in this diesel-dominated region.
Thatís the sobering message from AIDís exclusively compiled latest hybrid car sales figures for Western
Europe, showing that more than eight in ten of the barely 200,000 hybrid cars sold in the entire West
European region last year were Toyota-Lexus products.
All other me-too hybrid carmakers - including Mitsubishiís fast-starting Outlander PHEV - shared
the remaining 35,000 hybrid cars that found buyers in Western Europe last
