generation of A-class based cars, Mercedes bucked last year’s West European car sales trend.
In a mildly recessionary market, down less than 2 per cent, Mercedes posted a strong 5.1 per cent rise in full year sales to 601,800
units, thus crowning the world’s longest-established prestige brand as the fastest gainer in the pack.
