Big Japanese comeback in China
Large September sales gain from Japanese car brands in China

Septemberís new car sales, excluding imports, rose by nearly a quarter, thanks in no small measure to a sales blitz from most Japanese carmakers, whose car sales dynamo was suddenly spinning at full tilt to make up for the sales lost in the wake of Chinese consumersí boycott of Japanese products. 

Added momentum came from Chinaís insatiable appetite for latest SUV-Crossovers, which maintained its streak as Chinaís fastest-growing segment. 

Unlike recent years, which saw an intensifying struggle from Chinaís intrinsic domestic carmakers to tighten their grip on the domestic car sales scene, so far this year the process has been reversed. 

There is not one, but two turnaround stories to get out. 

One is the striking comeback from most leading Japanese carmakers, the other is the marked rebound from some of Chinaís leading intrinsic carmakers
