“..a business still losing market share and has been under-depreciating” - General Motors Europe cut its losses in the second quarter, but its progress towards financial health still looks strewn with obstacles

GM’s Opel-Vauxhall cut its losses to $110 million in the second quarter from $394 million in the same period of 2012, and the company said this keeps it on target to hit its goal for the year of a loss slightly less than 2012’s $1.8 billion red number. 

This might not look very good until you remember that Opel and Vauxhall have lost $18 billion since 1999
